Hand Fired Boilers - Rating Adjustment for Heating Value of Coal
Hand Fired ratings are based on coal having a heat value of 13,000 btu per pound. For coal of lesser heat value per pound, multiply the net load by the factor shown in the table before selecting boiler size:
